I am, was, and always will be a catalyst for change! -Shirley Chisholm
By the time clients decide to work with me they have exhausted all other resources in trying to fix their problems themselves and are pretty wounded from life’s many challenges.
Hello, my name is Dr. Barbara Evans and I am so pleased to meet you! My greatest reward as a therapist is in helping my clients explore ways to make changes in their lives that will enable them to reach a measure of peace, healing and clarity. I strongly believe in the power of the therapeutic partnership to help uncover the strengths and resources we all possess in order to bring about positive changes within. I feel privileged to be able to offer my assistance to others on this shared journey and commend you for reaching out for help as a way to better your life. I strive to create a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which individuals can be supported in their efforts to grow.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC).
